October 21  October 25 Dear Parents,  Loyola Elementary and Arts Preschool will be taking part in a national drug prevention campaign called Red Ribbon Week . Red Ribbon Week is celebrated in schools across America to spread awareness about the problems related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. We will be focusing on many aspects of health and safety. Below are the activities for the upcoming week. MONDAYOct 21 From Head to Toe, I am Drug Free! Students come to school wearing crazy socks and a crazy hairstyle TUESDAYOct 22 We are Too Bright for Drugs! Students come to school wearing hats and sunglasses WEDNESDAYOct 23 Police Officer Presentation A Doral Officer will come to school to give a presentation about safety THURSDAYOct 24 All School Prayer We will come together as a school for a Special Prayer FRIDAYOct 25 I am a Jean-ius I am Drug FREE! Students come to school wearing jeans and a red t-shirt

August, 2019 Dear parents, As you know, our priority here in LOYOLA SCHOOL is the safety of all children. We have been lucky these several years that we have been free from the path of any hurricanes, but now is a great opportunity to review our emergency preparedness. Remember that LOYOLA will follow the same procedures as the Miami Dade County’s Public Schools in case of severe weather emergencies.
